What you're giving them

Not a trinket.
Something they'll keep.

A professionally printed magazine that looks and feels like it came off a newsstand — except every single page is about your child.

How it's made

Written by us. Personalized for you.

We wrote the story arcs, designed the nine sections, and built the editorial voice ourselves — the same way a magazine would. Then for every issue, we personalize all of it around one specific child: their name in the headline, their sister in the story, their favorite sport in the puzzle, their actual interests in the fortune cookies. You're not getting AI output with a name dropped in. You're getting a magazine we made, finished for your kid.

The personalization is real

This is what's inside Emma's issue.

Every section is written around the specific child — their interests, their family, their personality. Not a template. Not a mail merge.

Breaking News story · Page 3

"Seven-year-old soccer star wants to write and perform her own school play... doing different voices for each character."

Written about Emma, based on what her mom told us

Would You Rather? · Page 5

"Would you rather have your sister Ella become your co-star in every school play you write?"

Her sister's actual name. In the magazine.

Fortune Cookies · Page 16

"Your soccer kicks will get so good this year that even the 3rd graders will ask you to be on their team."

Built from her specific interests, not a generic prediction

Original Story · Page 9

"Emma marched inside and scribbled her name on the sign-up sheet with such enthusiasm that she accidentally drew a small heart."

From the founder

Why we made this

If you ask my 6- and 3-year-old daughters what they love most, they'll tell you it's the stories their dad tells them — adventures with them as the star. An epic travelogue of our last family vacation with my older as the hero. A play-date tale featuring my younger. They hang on every word and light up as the story flows around them. The other thing they love? Activity books — jokes, puzzles, prompts that get their little minds going.

I couldn't find anything that brought those two things together the way I wanted for my own kids. So I made it. Pam and I wrote every story arc, designed every section, and built the editorial rules ourselves — then we built a system that personalizes it all around the specific child it's being made for. It's not a template with a name dropped in. It's a magazine we made, made for them.

The first time I handed my daughters their own printed magazines — their faces on the cover, their names in the headline, a short story starring them, activities built around the things only they would love — they cherished them. Carried them everywhere. A "would you rather" hits different when it's asking them to choose between their favorite sport and their favorite food. A story hits different when they're the one in it. From one parent to another, I can promise you: it's a gift any young child will adore.

Common questions

Questions parents ask

Is this AI-generated?

Not in the way you’re probably thinking. We wrote the story arcs, designed every section, and set the editorial voice ourselves — the magazine’s “bones” are entirely human-made. Our system’s job is to take all that and personalize it around your specific child: their name, their family, their interests. Every issue is also reviewed by an editor before it’s printed. It’s a magazine we made, finished for your kid.

Who actually writes the stories?

We do. There are five core story arcs we wrote and refined, plus the structures for every other section — the puzzles, the jokes, the fortune cookies, the “Would You Rather” prompts, the news headlines. Each issue picks the best-fitting story for your child and personalizes it around them. The bones are written by us. The details are written for them.

How personalized does it actually get?

Deeply. The “Breaking News” headline is about something specific to your child. The “Would You Rather” questions reference their sibling by name. The fortune cookies predict things based on their actual interests. The 5-page original story stars them as the protagonist. We ask for the details that matter — interests, family, personality — and use all of them. Not just a name swap.

What if I don’t like the issue when I see it?

You preview every section before anything gets printed. If something’s not quite right, you can regenerate that section. You only lock it in when it feels right. And if the printed magazine ever doesn’t meet expectations, we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee — write us and we’ll make it right.

What’s the print quality like? Will it actually feel like a real magazine?

Yes. It’s printed on 115gsm silk paper with a gloss cover — the same kind of stock used for premium magazines you’d buy at a newsstand. 19 full-color pages, professionally bound, shipped flat in a protective mailer. It’s built to be kept, not tossed.

Is this a good gift?

It’s one of the most-given uses of the magazine. It takes 3 minutes to make if you know the child reasonably well — name, age, a few interests, family details. Ships in 5–7 days in the US and Europe. Arrives ready to wrap. If you want a digital version faster, the PDF is available worldwide.
